The closest skiing is just 50 minutes away by car at Campo Imperatore. This is not a large resort and tends to be only used by the locals so the slopes are usually quiet, even over the Christmas period. It provides good easy and intermediate conditions for daily skiing but is probably not the resort for the expert skiier who might require more variation
