The nearest beach is Pineto, which is about a 25 minute drive. It is a sandy beach, and extends for miles to both north and south. Much of the beach is privately managed by bars, and it is possible to rent sunloungers and parasols by the day or the week. However, a large section of beach to the south is public, and shade can be found under a wonderful natural parasol of pine trees set back from the sea.
